Stabbed to death with pitchforks amid fountains of my own blood

This article in the Daily Fuhrer terrifies me.

Not because it features lazy journalism to create an absolute non-story ("Anne Diamond decries 18 certificate games for being only suitable for those older than 18") but for one major terrifying factor.

Look at the photograph of her in the article. DO WE REALLY WANT SOME MANNER OF GHOST TELLING US WHAT WE SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT BE PLAYING? SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE.

Somebody should complain to the Daily Mail about it.

  1. I do love the fact that she so very clearly has't done her research into what actually happens in any of these games, if her summary of Resi 4 is anything to go by.

  2. It's got blood in it and young children could be watching - the plot line of horrible video games is of minor concern to Anne Diamond, Galactic Protector.

  3. This whole story baffles me rather.

Part of the article is calling for an age certification system, which the video games industry voluntarily implemented and it's probably also worth noting that the average GAME or GameStation seeim to be a lot more responsible in who they sell '15' and '18' cert games than video shops were in the 1980s and 1990's.
